    CONSUMER NATIONAL SERVICE (SERNAC (spanish)) has allowed that consumers through Public Libraries may make inquires about their rights or claim through the online platform Sernac when they feel their rights have been violated. As in the case of SII ( spanish servicio de impuestos internos), Sernac trains to the personnel of public libraries and certify them as facilitators of their online platform.

  • WOMAN NATIONAL SERVICE (SERNAM (spanish))

    WOMAN NATIONAL SERVICE (SERNAM (spanish)). One of its missions is to improve the employability and working conditions of women heads of household. Thus, quotas are being issued in 4000 digital literacy and spreadsheets. Also incorporated issues related to Chile-Buy and the integration of working groups to operationalize a regional alliance.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, through its Global Libraries initiative, to date, delivered to the Directorate of Libraries, Archives and Museums, a total of three grants through which they have financed the design and implementation of origins of the program (2001), the growth of access services to technology training in the Library of Santiago and 10 more libraries (2004), and the development of new digital services for the digital inclusion of communities in Chile (2009)..
